The largest warehouses are not in the centre of Warsaw but a few dozen kilometres away, next to the A2 motorway and the S8 and S7 expressways. That is where online shops, retail chains and manufacturers keep their goods. If you are looking for warehouse jobs near Warsaw, check which towns offer the widest choice.
Why warehouses are built outside the city
A warehouse hall needs a large plot, easy access for lorries and affordable land. Warsaw rarely offers that, so logistics centres grow along the main roads out of the city. For a worker this means two things: there is plenty of work, but you need to solve the commute or live close to the hall. For HR Work offers we provide accommodation and transport to the warehouse, so distance from the city stops being a problem.
West: Błonie, Pruszków, Sochaczew, Teresin
Błonie
The area around Błonie and neighbouring Pass is one of the largest warehouse clusters in Masovia. The halls stand along national road 92 and close to the A2 junctions. Distribution centres of online shops, logistics operators and parts warehouses operate here. You can reach Błonie by suburban train from Warszawa Zachodnia station.
Pruszków
Pruszków is the closest to Warsaw of all the towns on this list, next to the A2 and a railway line. Many workers commute here daily from the city. The area has logistics parks, distribution centres of drugstore chains and e-commerce companies.
Sochaczew
Sochaczew is about 50 kilometres west of Warsaw, on road 92 and the A2. The town has its own housing estates and shops, so it is easy to settle here for longer. Large distribution centres of online shops and retail chains operate nearby and recruit every year for the pre-holiday season.
Teresin
Teresin lies between Sochaczew and Błonie, right next to an A2 junction. New logistics parks serving retail and manufacturing have been built here. It is a good option for people who want to live in a quiet town with work close by.
South-west: Nadarzyn and Mszczonów
Nadarzyn
Nadarzyn is one of the most important points on the logistics map of southern Masovia. The halls stand along the S8 and around the Paszków junction, where the S8 meets the A2. Many retail and e-commerce warehouses operate here. The easiest way to get to Nadarzyn is by car or by transport organised by the employer.
Mszczonów
Mszczonów is about 45 kilometres south-west of Warsaw, on the S8 and national road 50. Distribution centres of large retail chains and logistics parks operate here. Work is available all year round, and recruitment grows in the season.
North: Zakroczym and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki
Zakroczym
Zakroczym is a small town on the Vistula, a few kilometres from Modlin, close to the S7. Warehouses of car parts and industrial goods operate here. HR Work recruits in Zakroczym for the position of warehouse worker with a scanner, with accommodation and transport. You will find the current offer on our page about warehouse jobs in the Masovian Voivodeship.
Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and the Czosnów area
Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki is the largest town in this part of Masovia, with Modlin airport and a railway link to Warsaw. Along the S7, around Czosnów and Cząstków Mazowiecki, there are car parts warehouses and distribution centres. One of our offers is warehouse work with car parts in Cząstków.
How to choose a town
If you have a car, choose a warehouse on a road you already drive. If you commute by train, Pruszków, Błonie, Sochaczew and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki are the most convenient. If you come from far away or from abroad, ask for an offer with accommodation. Then the location matters less, because you live close to the hall and transport takes you to your shift. We write more about this in our post on commuting to work near Warsaw.
