Warehouse jobs in Bydgoszcz. Legal employment with HR WORK
Looking for a warehouse job in Bydgoszcz or nearby? HR WORK places candidates in warehouses, logistics centres and production plants across the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. We help with the paperwork, explain the terms of employment and stay in touch after your first shift.
Why warehouses in Bydgoszcz are hiring
Bydgoszcz sits at the junction of the S5 and S10 routes, close to Toruń and the main corridors towards Poznań, Gdańsk and Warsaw. Logistics parks and production plants around the city serve e-commerce, food, automotive and chemical companies.
Demand for staff grows before the autumn and winter season, when warehouses prepare for their busiest months. Applying early gives you a wider choice of shifts and locations.
Where our candidates work
Offers cover Bydgoszcz and towns within commuting distance, including Białe Błota, Nowa Wieś Wielka, Solec Kujawski and Osielsko. In many cases the employer or the agency arranges transport to the shift or points out a convenient public transport connection.
What warehouse work involves
Duties depend on the position and the industry. Most tasks are repetitive and you learn them during your first days on site, with a team leader nearby.
- order picking from a list or with a scanner,
- receiving and releasing goods,
- packing, labelling and preparing pallets,
- quality control and checking deliveries against documents,
- support work on the line and keeping the workstation tidy,
- forklift operation if you hold a UDT licence.
What employers expect
Most warehouse positions do not require previous experience. What counts is reliability, accuracy and readiness to work shifts.
- at least 18 years of age and a valid medical examination,
- documents allowing legal work in Poland,
- basic or conversational Polish, depending on the offer,
- availability for shift work,
- a UDT licence for forklift positions.
Terms of employment
Terms are described separately in each offer, because they differ between employers and positions. Every offer states the rate, the type of contract, the number of hours and the rules for overtime and night shifts.
Before signing, each candidate receives information about the workplace, the schedule and the payment date. If an offer includes accommodation or transport, we describe the cost and the rules. After you start, your coordinator remains available.
Warehouse jobs for foreign nationals
We recruit candidates from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and other countries. Legal employment requires three elements to match: your basis of residence, your basis of work and your contract. The employer notifies the labour office of the assignment through praca.gov.pl within 7 days from the day work begins.
We explain which documents to prepare and what to check in the contract. More details are available on our page about legal stay and work in Poland.
How recruitment works

- we call you to discuss your experience and availability,

- we collect the documents and agree your start date,
- after your first shift you stay in contact with your coordinator.
